Portraiture is often considered a representation of oneself or an individual. A story or a moment in time, but if we stop and look around our surroundings, we can see a story being told in various forms as well. Combining street photography with portraiture to bring two stories into one.

 

The city itself tells a story. Whether it’s through structural geometry, street art, or the people itself there are various stories in every corner. For this collection my subject was photographed interacting with the environment to bring a story blending portraiture with street photography. Sometimes we just have to stop and stare and look at all the art in the city.
