Fashion & Production

I filmed The Portal short films with the intention of blending cinema and fashion to provide an origin story for my brand Grit & Stones. The films were shot entirely on an iPhone along with Sandmarc and Beastgrip lens. I tried to keep my budget/resources as limited as possible to push the boundaries of an iPhone (I did acting, vocals, music, foley, mixing, and mastering) The short films contain various nods to David Lynch, Nine Inch Nails, The Silent Hill franchise, and Guillermo del Toro along with the surrealist art movement and found footage genre. My intention was to create an abstract/surrealist world than can be revisited and expanded later on down the road.
